But before fans even begin to envision the young Canadian heartthrob in his own spandex suit, let it be qualified that reports say he is getting his own biography comic book, not a superhero comic book by any means.
Courtesy of Bluewater Productions, the reported 32-page “Fame: Justin Bieber” comic is supposed to come out in October. It will chronicle the 16-year-old’s skyrocket climb to international success.
Previously, Bluewater has released similar graphic biographies of “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson (”Fame: Robert Pattinson”), as well as Taylor Swift, David Beckham, and Lady Gaga.
And on the Lady Gaga/Justin Bieber front, Justin Bieber has recently claimed Gaga’s throne of having the most-viewed video on YouTube. Bieber’s fans, who call themselves the “Bieliebers,” pushed “Baby” into the top spot with 246 million-plus views. Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” is now left in second place with a close 245.6 million views.
Bieber, who is currently on tour in the US in support of his “My World 2.0″ album, has sent his fans a message of thanks on Twitter, and praised Lady Gaga as “an incredible artist.”
Bieber tweeted on July 16: “so it doesn’t matter who has more views what matters is that we have incredible fans that support us… that im sure we are both greatful 4.”
Nevertheless, Lady Gagawho is in the middle of her own “Monster Ball” touris credited by Reuters as “the first living person to have more than 10 million fans on social networking site Facebook.”
