Getting Ready: For Women

Filed under: Best Gender Issue Tips — admin @ 3:37 am

Most women reading this are thinking that they already know how to get ready for a date, and this is a similar situation. While that’s true, you may want to read this over anyways to make sure that some little details are attended to.

When You’re In The Shower

You will want to take a shower because a bath might make you sleepy for the rest of the eveningand you don’t want that.

Before you get into the shower, make sure that you have a razor, shaving scream, face soap, and anything else that you normally need. With everything on your mind right now, you don’t want to have to keep getting out for things that you have forgotten.

Wash your body very carefully first. You can scrub with one of those poofy sponges and some bath gel for a light, clean scent. You will want to use lukewarm water so that your skin doesn’t dry out too much.

Wash your hair carefully and don’t use too much conditioner. If your hair is generally clean to begin with, you may even want to skip this step. Hair that is slightly dirty is much easier to style.

After you’ve been in the shower for a while, you’re ready to shave. Shave your legs completely and don’t forget the underarms. Of course, you can omit these steps altogether for personal preference.

Another Shaving Question

Most women want to know if they should shave their private area completely.

This is completely up to you and your comfort level. One thing to note is that if you’ve never done it before this night, it will not end well. This skin is very sensitive and you could end up with a nasty rash.

If you are planning on giving it a try, you will want to start the process out a few weeks a head of time. Start by trimming the hair down and then go ahead and use a razor, depilatory, or wax (ouch). Or you can go to a salon to have this done.

A lot of men like the ‘bare’ approach, while other men prefer a half and half layout. It’s interesting to note that the less there is, the more excited you can get. Just a thought.

Dressing It Up

Get out your best lingerie ladies. This is the time for the ‘fun’ stuff that’s been sitting in your drawer. Or maybe you want to buy something special for the occasion. A nice bra and panty set is best.

Wear a nice outfit that is revealing, but in a classy way. You may feel comfortable showing a little cleavage, but you may want to keep it subtle when you’re wearing a short skirt.

Makeup Or Not?

Since it’s going to be an exciting night, you do want to put a little makeup on to make yourself look fantastic. Like the clothes, you will want to play up your best features.

A nice dark lipstick (if it looks good on you) is best with softer makeup on the rest of the face.

You may also want to consider waterproof and smudge resistance makeup to keep the look on until you get home.

Looking for a Job Using the Internet to Succeed

Filed under: Internet Network Resources — admin @ 3:07 am

A modern job hunting campaign is by nature fairly intricate. While the net has offered a variety of new channels, it also creates increased competition for choice jobs and possible challenges for job hunters.

Job search needs to be thought of as a highly personal, very aimed marketing operation where you are the product. Your resume is an ad. Your extended network of contacts is your source for information.

So where does the internet fit in? At AA-Careers, we recently posted a job on Craigslist and got 600+ responses in a calendar week. For a single job. That’s increased job hunting competition.

Had a great candidiate called us ahead of our posting that ad, they could have landed the position before getting all that competition. How? By finding someone at our office who became aware of the job prior to posting. Everyone was aware of the job for at least 11 days before it was posted. Who in your network might know of a job that’s coming available soon?

Be careful to check your application materials thoroughly before submitting them. When we did an analysis of the 650 resumes, we found a large number of errors. 63% of the applicants were easily removed with a swift triage process. How? The same way any hiring manager would. By rejecting resumes where the objective didn’t match our position description. By rejecting candidates whose cover letters gave us causes not to engage them, like "I know I’m overqualified but I really need a job". By eliminating prospects whose documents that didn’t open properly. And by passing over candidates who didn’t bother to spell check their cover letter and/or resume.

So the great news is that job sites give you a sense of who is hiring, and for what kinds of jobs. But once those positions are posted, the competition is intense. You can still try, if you have a well thought out resume, designed to appeal directly and clearly to the recruiter. And if you have practiced interviewing – so you don’t stumble at a critical point.

Another thing to be aware of is how quickly you can be checked out on the internet. As we Googled several job hunters, we ran into some Facebook comments that were in questionable taste. Nothing illegal, but enough to tilt our thoughts about who to hire.

AA-Careers provides a extensive set of services for Bay Area job seekers, providing our clients a personal career consultant, a managed job hunting campaign, modern tools like a personal website, video, highly targeted resume, and much more. Let us know if we can help you.

Be careful out there, and good hunting!

A Super Tip You Must Learn about — Sydney Botox Costs

Filed under: Makeup & Beauty, Miscellany, The Medical Way — admin @ 3:02 am

Click here and go to this very good resource for Botulinum injections Sydney clues!

Botulinum medicine (shortened to BoTox) is fast becoming established amongst Sydney’s fashionable crowd in fact it is becoming a grooming necessity for many in the city.

But I never cease to be stunned by the plethora of stories which have developed in connection with the routine treatment.

I have included below some of the more myths that I come across everyday at Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I practise as a physician.

Error Number 1: The muscles in my face could freeze!

There are 60 or so muscles beneath the skin of your face. The facial muscles usually function harmoniously, but from persistent movement lines can appear. Too large a dose of Botulinum Toxin have the effect of the facial musculature appearing less taut. Broadly speaking physicians use comparatively minute dosages to result in you appearing ‘refreshed’, yet you will keep your facial expression.

Thus a carefully measured dosage of BoTox in the right site means facial expression is preserved whilst the lines are softened.

Error Number 2: BoTox is a toxin!
There is a grain of truth in this assertion. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the correct pharmaceutical nomenclature. Too great a quantity can relax facial muscles that you do not want loosened and may even cause serious illness.

Chemists have a well-known expression that states ‘everything is poisonous - it all depends on the dose’. Any medicinal drug will make a person unwell in large enough dosages. If you drink too much water you will die.

Error Number 3: It will hurt!
In our clinic Star Cosmetic Medicine the physician only uses a needle finer than a human hair. Some people have compared the treatments to a mosquito bite. Certainly not as painful as having a regular shot.

Error Number 4: BoTox will numb my face!
This is completely wrong. BoTox works on the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerve fibers. Only the ability to relax muscles is affected by BoTox injections.

Error Number 5. You must keep getting BoTox or else the lines become even worse!
Also untrue.

You can expect BoTox to last for in the region of 3 months. Any further injections after the initial visit usually last a few weeks longer. Eventually as muscle strength returns - the wrinkles will return bit by bit. Nevertheless your wrinkles won’t be any deeper than when you began your treatment.

In fact any lines will in general be softer than if you hadn’t undergone BoTox treatment - even if you never persevere with the injections. This is primarily the case because your facial muscles and skin have had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ during the treatment.
